Viktor Ahn
Speed Skater
South Korean-born speed skater who competed with the Russian Olympic speed skating team, winning three short track gold medals each in the 2006 and 2014 Winter Olympics.
He competed in his first Olympic games in 2002 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He won numerous gold medals in six speed skating World Championships between 2003 and 2014.
He grew up in Seoul, South Korea and began his skating career during his childhood years. His Russian citizenship was finalized in 2011.
President Vladimir Putin presented Ahn with Russia's Order for Merit to the Fatherland.
