Speedskater who won a gold medal in the 1000 meter race at the 2010 Winter Olympics while representing Canada.
She won a silver medal in the 3000 meter relay at the Canada Winter Games when she was just 13-years old.
On January 28, 2012, she set a world record in the 1000 meter race.
She was born in Melbourne, Australia, but spent most of her youth in Canada.
She was teammates with Kristina Groves on the Canadian team that won silver in the team pursuit at the 2006 Olympics.
