Truls Mork
Cellist
Musician who rose to fame as a highly trained classical cellist. In 1982 he became the youngest Scandinavian musician to reach the finals of the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, Russia.
At the age of 17 he began training at the Edsberg Music Institute.
He was known to perform with a Domenico Montagnana cello that was made in 1723.
He married Danish journalist Karin Mørch and the couple gave birth to four children.
Both he and world renown pianist Leif Ove Andsnes contributed to the 1993 compilation album Movements.
