Feminist speaker, author, radio host, activist, and sex educator who performed in and directed sex-positive feminist adult films.
She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Wesleyan University in 1993 with a degree in American Studies.
She wrote a sex column called "Pucker Up" for The Village Voice.
Her parents divorced after her father came out as gay. She was raised mostly by her mother but remained close to her father, who died of AIDS in 1995.
Her their uncle, Thomas Pynchon, became known for his literary works. His their novels include The Crying of Lot 49 and Gravity's Rainbow.
