Initially known for her sportscasting work with TVNZ (Television New Zealand), this television personality went on to co-host the talk shows Breakfast and Saturday Breakfast for the same network.
She earned an athletic scholarship to New Zealand's Lincoln University. She began her work with TVNZ as an intern.
She was criticized for her handling of a 2008 interview with Olympic track star Paul Hession.
She and her twin brother, Lance (who died at age one from leukemia), were born in New Plymouth, New Zealand. She and her husband, professional rugby player Matt France, welcomed a daughter named Juliette in late 2012.
She and Paul Henry both had television hosting careers in New Zealand.
