Animator
Irish filmmaker, animator and illustrator whose best known for his comics. He co-founded the animation studio and production company, Cartoon Saloon. He's also widely known for his critically acclaimed films, The Secret of Kelis and Song of the Sea.
He discovered his passion for film and animation upon joining the Young Irish Film Makers as a young teen.
His feature film The Secret of Kelis was nominated for Best Animated Feature Film at the 2010 Academy Awards.
He was born the eldest of four in Newry, County Down, Northern Ireland, but raised in Kilkenny.
He made his directorial debut with the film The Secret of Kelis featuring Michael McGrath.
