Freeskier who won his first X Games gold medal at the 2012 Aspen games in the SlopeStyle competition.
He began skiing in 1990, at age 3, and started competing seriously in 2009.
In 2013 he won a gold medal in the SlopeStyle competition at the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships.
His longtime girlfriend, Stephanie, traveled with him early on in his career to watch his events.
He won the ski SlopeStyle gold medal at the 2012 X Games where Mark McMorris won the snowboard SlopeStyle gold medal.
