Guitarist who is best known as the frontman for the band Television, which released the visionary album Marquee Moon.
He studied piano and saxophone at a young age, but switched to guitar after hearing "19th Nervous Breakdown" by the Rolling Stones.
His real name is Thomas Miller, and he was inspired to change his name by Bob Dylan.
His family moved to Wilmington, Delaware when he was six.
He learned to play saxophone because of Stan Getz.
