Former college basketball star for Coastal Carolina University; inducted into the Big South Conference Hall of Fame, played professionally in the CBA and Europe.
Before his breakout seasons at Coastal Carolina, he attended Jacksonville University.
He was a four-time Big South Player of the Year, the first time in Division I men's basketball history that a player was named conference player of the year four times.
He grew up in Rains, South Carolina.
He led Coastal Carolina to its first-ever NCAA tournament, but they were eliminated in the second round by Bobby Knight's Indiana Hoosiers.
