American actor and producer who was the original voice of Prince Charming in Disney's Cinderella. He has also had many roles in sci-fi and western films and series including The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp from 1956 until 1961 and Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey in 1993.
He majored in accounting at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois.
He served as a radio operator in the United States Navy during World War II.
He was raised with his family in Vincennes, Indiana and resided in Santa Monica, California. He died from lung cancer.
He co-starred with Hugh O'Brian in the television series The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp.
