Tim Gaines

Bass guitarist known primarily for his time as a member of the Christian metal band Stryper. He's also played with the band Stormer and released a solo album called Breakfast @ Timothy's.
He moved from Oregon to Arcadia, California as a child, where he would grow up. He started playing with Stormer after finishing high school and joined Stryper in 1983.
Stryper was disbanded between 1993 and 2003. During that time, he played with the bands King James and Tourniquet and also founded SinDizzy.
He was born Timothy Hagelganz and is of Volga German ancestry.
He and Oz Fox have played together as part of Stryper.
