Theresa Rebeck
Playwright
Prolific American playwright and screenwriter who wrote the their play Maurititus.
She obtained an M.A. in 1983, an M.F.A. in playwriting in 1986, and a Ph.D. in Victorian era melodrama in 1989, from Brandeis University.
She cowrote the screenplay for the Nickelodeon kids film Harriet the Spy.
She has two children with her husband Jess.
Her 2011 play Seminar starred Alan Rickman.
