Rapper born Teren Delvon Jones and known for his albums I Wish My Brother George Was Here, No Need For Alarm, Future Development, and Both Sides of the Brain. He also founded the West Coast hip-hop group Hieroglyphics and collaborated with the Gorillaz on the hit song "Clint Eastwood."
He first started writing for Ice Cube and his group Da Lench Mob. In 1991, he released his first album, I Wish My Brother George Was Here.
He makes up one-third of the supergroup Deltron 3030 along with Dan the Automator and Kid Koala. His music has often been featured in video games, particularly skateboarding games like Tony Hawk's Project 8 and Skate 3.
He was born in Oakland. His father was a visual artist, which influenced Del's creativity and interest in art and theory from an early age. Ice Cube is his first cousin.
He was featured on the MF Doom song "Life and Time" and he's also collaborated with such artists as Mr. Lif, Dr. OctoTron, Aesop Rock and the Wu-Tang Clan.
