English-born American rapper known for his "super villain" stage persona. He's popular for hits such as "Rhymes Like Dimes," "DOOMsday," and "Rapp Snitch Knishes."
He began freestyling at open-mic events at the Nuyorican Poets Café in Manhattan 1997 and first gained the rap name MC Dan.
He has collaborated with the likes of Bishop Nehru, Ghostface Killah and JJ Doom.
He was born Daniel Dumile; his mother gave him the nickname "Doom" as a child. His older brother is DJ Subroc.
He frequently collaborates with Danger Mouse.
