Multi-instrumentalist who performed on all of Henry Mancini's film and television soundtracks in the late 1950s.
He toured with dance bands before being invited to be the solo tenor chair of the Les Brown Band.
He published Ted Nash's Studies in High Harmonics for Tenor and Alto Saxophone in 1946.
He was married in the late 1940s and moved to Los Angeles with his wife.
Nash and Wingy Manone have contributed music to movie soundtracks.
