She studied for the Connecticut real estate exam in 2003. She opened Bivins Realty Group in November 2007.
Her husband starred in the BET mini-series, New Edition: The Movie.
She has been based in Connecticut with Michael and their four daughters: Savannah, Shilah, Starlah and Sanai. They also have a son named Michael Jr.
Her husband was in the R&B group New Edition with Bobby Brown.
