Tamara McKinney

Former alpine ski racer who became one of the top female ski racers in United States history, winning four Alpine Skiing World Cup season titles. She was inducted in the Kentucky Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004.
She was born in Lexington, Kentucky and grew up in Squaw Valley, California.
After winning the overall title at the 1983 Alpine Skiing World Cup, she was the only American to hold the title until 2008.
She is the youngest of seven children.
She and Lindsey Vonn are both American winners of the overall title at the Alpine Skiing World Cup.
