American author, recording artist, animation voice actor, comedian, radio personality, and advertising mogul for over 70 years. He played the role of Mr. Parkin on the show Roseanne.
He graduated from Alhambra High School and began work as a voice actor.
He provided the voice of Sam, the orange cat paired with Sylvester in the Academy Award-nominated short Mouse and Garden, which was released in 1960.
He married Donna Freberg on January 24, 1959 and Betty Hunter in 2002.
He was known for his impression of Elvis Presley.
