Pole Vaulter
Pole vaulter who took home the gold medal for Team USA at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. She is also the winner of tournaments like the 1999 and 2001 IAAF World Indoor Championships.
She was born in Auburn, California and first medaled at the USA Outdoor Championships in 1995.
She held the world record in the women's pole vault from August 1999 and July 2003.
She has a daughter named Allyx with discus thrower Ian Waltz.
He and Russia's Yelena Isinbayeva are both Olympic champions in the women's pole vault.
