Simon Gray
Playwright
English playwright who wrote 40 original stage plays and gained media attention for his play Cell Mates in 1995. He also wrote five novels.
He earned a bachelor's degree from Trinity College, Cambridge and Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia.
He served as Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2004.
He had two children with his first wife, Beryl Kevern, whom he later divorced. He remarried Victoria Katherine Rothschild.
His play The Late Middle Classes was staged in Donmar Warehouse, which has held many notable actors like Ruth Wilson.
