Notable for his numerous appearances on Happy Endings, Children's Hospital, the Kroll Show, and Go On, this actor, comedian, and comedy writer is also known for his work for the comedy website Funny or Die, as well as for his contributions to the Comedy Bang! Bang! podcast.
After briefly studying at the University of California, Santa Cruz, he performed with the Upright Citizens Brigade comedy troupe, as well as with a small comedy ensemble called The Naked Babies.
Apart from his comedy career, he held part-time jobs as a group home worker and a children's yoga instructor.
He was born and raised in Marin County, California.
He and fellow comedian Paul Scheer both appeared on the Hulu sitcom The Hotwives of Orlando.
