English former soccer player who became the manager of Burnley FC in 2012. He was voted Hardest Manager in Football League Championship two straight years in 2013 and 2014.
He rose through the Nottingham Forest youth system before making his senior debut in 1989.
Among his accomplishments as a player is winning the Football League Second Division title with Millwall in 2001.
He has children named Alicia and Max. He has two brothers.
He has managed Scottish player Ross Wallace at Burnley FC.
