Prior to her victory, she was best known for her time in the WWE developmental territory NXT. Before joining NXT, she was a Chaotic Wrestling Women's Champion. She also played Koska Reeves in season two of The Mandalorian.
She was born in Fairfield, California. She began training with Chaotic Wrestling in 2008.
She adopted the entrance theme "Sky's the Limit" by CFO$ in 2014.
Her birth name is Mercedes Kaestner-Varnado. She married Sarath Ton in 2016. Her cousins are rappers Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger, and Ray J, as well as singer Brandy.
She has teamed up with Paige in WWE NXT.
