He first took up an interest in wrestling when he was 11 years old. He started training 3 years later and made his debut in 2000 when he was 16.
He has wrestled with Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Combat Zone Wrestling as well.
His real name is Kevin Steen. He married Karina Steen with whom he has two children.
He has taken on El Generico in the ring before.
