Daughter of Japanese-Korean MMA fighter Yoshihiro Akiyama and his wife, model Shiho Yano.
In January of 2014, her parents began posting photos of her to Instagram. She would go on to earn tens of thousands of followers on the app.
She appears alongside her father in the Korean reality series The Return of Superman.
Her parents began dating in 2007 and were married in 2009.
Her father is close friends with South Korean actor Jang Keun-suk.
