Voice actress and singer who has gained renown for her prolific career in Japanese animes. She won the 2016 Seiyu Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work on Sound! Euphonium and My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU TOO!.
She passed her first audition with the agency I'm Enterprise in 2006. She earned her first major role in the 2007 anime series Touka Gettan.
She wrote the opening theme song for the anime series Snow White with the Red Hair, in which she also voiced the character Shirayuki. Her 2016 concert tour in Japan, Live Love Laugh, was her first tour.
She was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan.
She dubbed Saoirse Ronan's role in the 2009 film The Lovely Bones.
