The lesbian teenager Sian Powers in the ITV1 soap opera Coronation Street and stayed in the role from 2009 to 2011.
One of her earliest roles was in the TV drama Always and Everyone, which she followed up with guest appearances on several shows.
In spring of 2013 she appeared in the BBC two-hour drama program The Crash, along with several other soap opera actors.
She was born in Greater Manchester, England, her father a housing officer and her mother a former social worker.
Like Kym Marsh, she appeared in Coronation Street.
