MLB reliever who debuted in 2009 for the Detroit Tigers. He was traded to the Washington Nationals in December, 2011.
He played baseball at the University of Arizona, and was selected 21st overall in the 2008 MLB Draft.
In his rookie season he compiled an ERA of 3.79.
In 2013 he married longtime girlfriend, Vanella Palestino.
He was teammates with fellow reliever Daniel Schlereth in college and in the MLB.
