Venezuelan fencer who won gold in the 2012 Olympics in the epee competition, also winning epee gold in the 2007 Pan American Games and 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games.
He grew up in Bolivar City, Venezuela.
He won the second Olympic gold medal in his country's history.
His brother Francisco Limardo is also a fencer.
Slugging third baseman Miguel Cabrera is also from Venezuela.
