Spanish Latin pop singer who became a music sensation in her home country after winning Benidorm's music festival. Her victory led to a contract with MCA and her debut album was released in 1996.
After growing up on the Canary Islands, she moved to Madrid as a young adult, where her passion for music took off.
Two songs from her debut album, "Lunas Rotas" and "El Talismán," appeared in the 1996 movie Curdled. She was nominated for Latin Grammys in 2009, 2012, and 2014.
She grew up with seven older siblings. Her full name is Rosana Arbelo Gopar.
Angela Jones starred in the film Curdled, which featured Arbelo's music.
