Ronnie Lane

Bassist and founding member of Small Faces and the band Faces who became a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
He co-founded Small Faces with the guitarist Steve Marriott and scored chart-topping hits with "Itchycoo Park" and "All or Nothing."
After Marriott left Small Faces, he brought in several new members, re-named the group Faces, and went to playing arena rock all over the U.S.
His father was a truck driver, who Lane adored for still finding time for the family despite his long hours.
Rod Stewart was his bandmate in Faces, with the two co-writing many of the group's biggest songs.
