Pulitzer Prize winning journalist who once served as the Senior National Affairs Writer for The Wall Street Journal from 1993 to 2000. He won the award in 1995 for Feature Writing.
He received a master's degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 1983.
He won the 1995 Pulitzer Prize for Feature Writing for his series of articles in the Wall Street Journal describing the struggles of inner-city honors students in Washington, D.C.
He had two children with his wife, Cornelia Anne Kennedy, whom he married in 1988.
His book Confidence Men was about President Barack Obama's attempts to deal with the 2008 financial crisis.
