Ron Rinehart
Metal Singer
Known best for his work with the Los Angeles-based band Dark Angel, this thrash metal singer performed with the group from 1987 until 1992 and re-joined Dark Angel's ranks in the early 2000s. His albums with the band include Live Scars and Time Does Not Heal.
He joined Dark Angel after the band's previous singer, Don Doty, resigned from the group. His first recording with Dark Angel was the 1989 album Leave Scars.
After Dark Angel disbanded, Rinehart and Eric Meyer formed a music group called Hunger, and Meyer also performed with a Christian metal band called Oil.
He was born and raised in Norwalk, California.
He and drummer Gene Hoglan both performed with Dark Angel.
