Award-winning classical musician, composer, and arranger who became known for his improvisational abilities.
He studied under famed Spanish classical guitarist Alberto Ponce.
He was known for incorporating folk and jazz elements into his pieces; his compositions "Tango en Skaï" and "Libra Sonatine" were popular among his peers.
He settled with his family in Paris, where he became a professor of guitar at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris.
He was influenced by Carlos Montoya.
