Robert Richardson

Three-time Academy Award winning director of photography who earned the highest of honors for his work on 1991's JFK, 2004's The Aviator, and 2011's Hugo. He is a frequent collaborator with directors Martin Scorsese, Oliver Stone and Quentin Tarantino, among others.
He earned a degree in Film/Animation/Video from the Rhode Island School of Design, and earned his Master's from the AFI Conservatory.
His first film as director of photography, 1986's Salvador, was Oliver Stone's major motion picture debut.
He has been married three times and has four children.
He has been nominated for an ASC Award ten times, including one time for Rob Reiner's A Few Good Men.
