Annual celebration of achievements on Broadway which returned Hugh Jackman to return for the fourth time. Audra McDonald became the first actor to win six Tony Awards for acting, and the first to win in all four categories, lead and featured for both a play and musical. 

Trivia

Aladdin's win made it the fourth franchise to win a Tony Award, Emmy, Golden Globe and Oscar. Both A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch won four awards on the night.
