Robert Muchamore
Novelist
British author of adventure, spy, and thriller novels who became known for his Henderson's Boys and CHERUB series. He published a stand-alone work entitled Rock War: The Audition in 2014.
After abandoning plans to become an architect, he worked during the 1990s for a private investigator.
He began writing his CHERUB novels as a gift to his young nephew, hoping that the books would inspire the young boy to abandon his distaste for reading.
He grew up in London with three older siblings.
He's classified as a young adult novelist much like fellow British author Anthony Horowitz.
