Pink Floyd keyboardist, singer, and song composer who wrote The Great Gig in the Sky.
He was self-trained in guitar, trumpet, and piano.
He sang on Echoes, Matilda Mother, and Time, among other Pink Floyd songs.
He married Juliette Gale in 1964, then Franka Wright in 1984, and then Millie Hobbs in 1996. He had three children: Gala, Ben and Jamie.
He was in Pink Floyd with Nick Mason.
