Richard Swift

Talented all-around musician who was the founder and owner of the Oregon-based recording studio National Freedom. He produced music for artists such as The Shins, Damien Jurado, Foxygen, Wake Owl, and Guster.
He wrote and recorded original material from his home. He pursued a solo recording career after moving to Southern California in 2001. He would later sign with the indie label Secretly Canadian.
He joined The Shins as their keyboardist and became the touring bassist and background singer for The Black Keys.
He moved around frequently with his family.
He was invited by Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy to support Wilco's Sky Blue Sky US tour.
