Professional pitcher that was signed by the Tampa Bay Rays as an international free agent in 2011. He was acquired by the Colorado Rockies via trade in January 2016. He was a National League Silver Slugger award winner in 2018 and a first time National League All-Star in 2021.
He officially began his professional career in 2015.
He made his major league debut pitching against the San Diego Padres on September 8, 2016.
He is a native of San Felix, Venezuela. He lives with his wife, Dilvanny, and their son.
