Emmy-winning visual journalist known for spending more than fifteen years working with the San Jose Mercury News. His work there earned him two Pulitzer nominations and he has been featured in publications like Time, USA Today, and Newsweek.
He graduated from San Francisco State University where he later became a guest instructor.
He has become incredibly popular on Instagram where his haunting and surreal black and white photographs have earned him a following of more than 250,000 fans.
The Ventura native later settled in Oakland, California.
Like Sebastiao Salgado, he is an established photojournalist and award-winning photographer.
