Richard Graves
Religious Leader
Anglican cleric, author and poet known for his 1773 satirical novel, The Spiritual Quixote.
He was the son of Richard and Debra Graves and spent his youth in Gloucestershire.
He lost his fellowship to All Souls College, Oxford, when he married his young, peasant wife.
He married Lucy Bartholomew and had five children.
He served as a private tutor to Thomas Malthus.
