Indian Islamic preacher who has gained fame as the founder and president of the Islamic Research Foundation. He is also the founder of Peace TV.
He studied medicine at the Topiwala National Medical college and later the University of Mumbai.
He has been referred to as the rockstar of tele-evangelism of modern Islam.
He and his wife Farhat Naik have to children together, Fariq and Rushdaa.
He was banned from entering the UK by acting Home Secretary Theresa May in June 2010.
