Richard Edson

Famous as both a musician and an actor, he played drums or horn for the bands Konk and The Offs and appeared in the films Ferris Bueller's Day Off (as a parking attendant) and Joey Breaker (as the title character).
In the early 1980s, he served as Sonic Youth's first drummer.
Between 1999 and 2002, he starred in three Raphael Nadjari-directed movies.
The children of Marian and Arnold Edson, he and his siblings Andrea, Jennifer, and Steven were raised in New Rochelle, New York.
He co-starred with John Lurie in the 1984 comedy movie Stranger Than Paradise.
