Philadelphia based indie soul singer who later became known as one half of the musical duo Idle Warship with rapper Talib Kweli. Her single "They Say Vision" was a Top 40 hit, reaching number one on several dance charts. She also starred in her own documentary titled The Res Documentary: An Industry Diary.
She was born Shareese Renee Ballard.
Her debut solo album How I Do entered the Billboard 200 for the first time due to the success of her single "They-Say Vision."
She was born and raised in Philadelphia.
She sang supporting vocals for CeeLo Green's hit song "Crazy" on his St. Elsewhere World Tour.
