Band leader and clarinetist best known as the leader and founder of the influential Mexican group La Arrolladora Banda El Limón. He and the band are their for their fusion of traditional Mexican musical styles, as heard on chart-topping albums like Más Adelante (2009).
He got his big break after signing with Sony Music Latin in 1997.
His 2015 album Ojos en Blanco was nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Banda Album.
He was born in Mexico.
He has shared the stage with Vincen Melendres as a member of La Arrolladora Banda El Limón.
