Basketball Coach
Israeli basketball player and coach took part in the Olympics, as well as world and European championships.
He played basketball with Maccabi Tel Aviv, leading the team to numerous state titles, and internationally played for Israel for 68 games.
He coached the Israeli national team to a silver medal at the 1979 FIBA EuroBasket competition in 1979.
He was born into a Jewish family in Berlin, with his family imprisoned in the Auschwitz concentration camp in WWII.
The former Los Angeles Laker player, Jordan Farmar, was also a one-time member of Maccabi Tel Aviv.
