Small forward for the Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, and New Jersey Nets who scored over 14,000 points in his twelve-year NBA career.
He played college basketball at Jackson State University, earning Southwestern Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Year honors in 1977 and 1978.
After his NBA career, he spent one season playing for Hapoel Tel Aviv in Israel before retiring.
His older brother Gene had a brief two-year career in the NBA as well.
He was selected one pick ahead of the great Larry Bird in the 1978 NBA Draft.
