Tyreke Evans

NBA guard/forward who was named Rookie of the Year with the Sacramento Kings in 2010. After four seasons with the Kings, he signed with the New Orleans Pelicans in 2013. He was then traded back to the Kings in 2017.
He played one season at the University of Memphis, where he was the only freshman finalist for the 2009 U.S. Basketball Writers of America National Player of the Year Award.
He became the fourth rookie in NBA history to average 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists throughout a season.
He was raised primarily by his three older brothers.
He flourished under head coach John Calipari at the University of Memphis.
