Philippa Perry

Author and therapist primarily known for her psychotherapeutic novels How to Stay Sane and The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read (and Your Children Will be Glad That You Did).
Before becoming a published author, she worked in mental health for over 20 years and as a private practitioner for over 10 years.
In 2010, the academic publisher Palgrave Macmillan published her first book titled Couch Fiction: a Graphic Tale of Psychotherapy.
She married Grayson Perry, with whom she has a daughter named Florence.
Both her and Charles Dickens are authors and natives of England.
